	Chungking Express (1998)	Two stories, two lovelorn cops, two objects of desire: one a big-time heroin dealer in deep trouble with her boss after the cargo disappears, the other a seriously flaky take-out waitress who inadvertently gets hold of the keys to her admirer's apartment, all shot in a breathless kaleidoscope of color and hand-held camera work to create a mesmerizing portrait of Hong Kong in the 1990s.	I found the first half about the heroin dealer pretty boring, but the second story dealing with the waitress is wonderful.
	Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)	Two warriors in pursuit of a stolen sword and a notorious fugitive are led to an impetuous, physically-skilled, teenage nobleman's daughter, who is at a crossroads in her life.	A must-see for fans of the genre.
	Dumplings	Mei is a doctor and has performed a lot of illegal abortions in the past. For her age she looks very young. Her secret: home-made dumplings from a special recipe. A neglected wife of an executive is looking for youth and is willing to pay any price for the dumplings. The ingredients of the dumplings are rare, but then a mother with her pregnant daughter shows up... Feature length version of the short that appears on Three... Extremes.
	The Eye (2002)	A blind girl gets a cornea transplant so that she would be able to see again. However, she got more than what she bargained for when she realised she can now see ghosts. She embarks on a journey to find the origins of her cornea and to reveal the history of the previous owner. Was a Hong Kong/Singapore/Thai co-production featuring pan-Asian cast, including Malaysian star Angelica Lee as the lead.	Creepy with a few good jump scares.
	Hard Boiled (1992)	A tough-as-nails cop teams up with an undercover agent to shut down a sinister mobster and his crew. Directed by John Woo.	Maybe a little cheesy by today's standards, but it's still bad ass.
	House of Flying Daggers	During the reign of the Tang dynasty in China, a secret organization called "The House of the Flying Daggers" rises and opposes the government. A police officer called Leo sends officer Jin to investigate a young dancer named Mei, claiming that she has ties to the "Flying Daggers". Leo arrests Mei, only to have Jin breaking her free in a plot to gain her trust and lead the police to the new leader of the secret organization. But things are far more complicated than they seem...
	Infernal Affairs (2002)	Chan Wing Yan, a young police officer, has been sent undercover as a mole in the local mafia. Lau Kin Ming, a young mafia member, infiltrates the police force. Years later Chen Wing Yan and Inspector Lau Kin Ming race against time to expose the mole within their midst. Was remade by Martin Scorsese as The Departed in 2006.	An excellent crime drama, and some would say that it's better than the Scorsese remake.
	Kung Fu Hustle (2004)	In Shanghai, China in the 1940s, a wannabe gangster aspires to join the notorious "Axe Gang" while residents of a housing complex exhibit extraordinary powers in defending their turf. Directed by Stephen Chow.
	Shaolin Soccer (2001)	A young Shaolin follower reunites with his discouraged brothers to form a soccer team using their martial art skills to their advantage. Directed by Stephen Chow, director of Kung Fu Hustle.
